Standing where Thomson Road merges into Johnston Road in Wan Chai, I felt the compression of the scene. Parked motorcycles press into the lower corner while traffic edges in from both sides. Nothing stands still, yet nothing moves freely. Behind the vehicles, a glass facade reflects the street back onto itself. Buses, shopfronts, scaffolding, and advertisements share the same plane beneath filtered afternoon light. I stood within this density, where movement, commerce, and construction overlap without pause.
