A residential complex in Happy Valley undergoes upgrading works. The facade, enclosed in scaffolding and mesh, stretches across the frame. Along its base, a row of potted trees stands in alignment, slender forms set against enclosure and repair. I found myself returning to their quiet presence, the only organic rhythm within the surface of renovation.
